ButterfliesNRoses, PreciousPoms & PolarbearClicks
« on: June 18, 2010, 09:37:28 AM »
These are sister programs and all falling behind in payments.  My request:

There are 8 requests in front of you.
Your request for 6.52 USD Verfied Paypal is 34 day(s) old.

Granted that is not unreasonably over tos, and there was an announcement that a few 3rd parties were lost and refused to pay.  What alarms me most is the more recent admins pushing members to purchase to get "cash flow" from ad upgrade and affiliate page specials that are completely unsustainable.  The most recent admin hints that if the sales don't generate cash flow and the PO has to pay members out of pocket there will be major changes.

These sites come with free upgrades, many members already have paid upgrades for the PTP which come with pretty large amounts of monthly ads...  How much more can members buy?  It isn't the members job to buy, buy, buy and provide the cash flow.

Your request for 7.56 USD Verfied Paypal is 50 day(s) old.

The queue has moved by 3, but only two payouts showing on the Been Paid page (alertpay, so they may have been in front or behind me).  This is at Butterflies N Roses.  From the Been Paid lists on all 3 sites, it looks like payments are being made at roughly the 50 day mark.

Summer's always a slow time, so I'm hoping these can get back on track.

I was paid (at Butterflies) on June 16th, waited 41 days.

Almost at the 30-day mark at Precious Poms (29 days, 22 requests in front of me).

And yes, the constant push on the members to buy more ads is hard not to notice ::)

I waited over 40 days for last payout at all 3--Alert Pay which everyone is short on.  Gail did not pay full balances even though they were all under $10.00 so at Precious Poms and Butterflies and Roses I was forced to redeem (upgrades and affiliate pages had expired).  I will say this much for Gail, she doesn't delete your ads when you leave

I was just paid by Gail today on polarbearclicks ($9.80) and checked the been paid page, Date Requested: May 20, 10  Date Paid: Jul 05, 10 which puts it somewhere around 45/46 days. And I count 11 payouts already for the month and today being the 5th, which is good even though technically she is over the 30 days, especially taking into account that I counted only 19 payouts for the entire month of May.

I pretty much stopped promoting her PTP's shortly after putting in the payout requests, with the longer waits and lower profit margins, I just find it to be a little higher risk than I am willing to take when you consider the Risk VS Gain.

Hopefully Gail will be able to keep it together, I imagine running a PTR with PTP and affiliate pages nowadays is an uphill battle, running 3 is probably just plain nerve wracking.

In regards to the opening post, I'm in complete agreement, I really don't like those type of 'hints'.

Same message at all 3 sites.

Administrative Message #146 - Site Changes
The following changes will be made effective August 1st.

Why?
1. The few publishers we have pay for Tier 1 & 2 Traffic only
2. Ad Sales are just not there to offset the other tiers

CPM on PTP will be restricted to Tier 1 & 2 Traffic Only
(You will need to target future ads to these Tiers)

CPM will Pay $.50/1000

PTP will be available to upgraded members only

I am very sorry folks - I used to use the revenue from Ad sales
to offset what we do not get from publishers. Those sales are
almost non-existant the past several months and the program
is no longer sustainable. Some programs are eliminating PTP
all together - this is my hopeful solution to get on track so we
can keep PTP as a added earning option.

I know a majority of you are not happy with these changes (neither am I)
but the PTR industry has taken a nose diver the past 6 months and
just does not seem to be bouncing back. These changes are necessary for the program to survive.

Thank you for your understanding!
Gail

Administrative Message #263 - Correction to Admin #262
Correction to my last Admin message:

PTP will remain at $.60/1000

(I typed $.50/1000 by mistake so disregard
that portion of the last admin.)

I had one view today that paid .0005 and one that paid .0006

Butterflies is back up but I don't have my upgrade(s) anymore. Anybody else upgraded there that is now listed as a free member?
I clicked the upgraded expiry dates link but that page isn't back up yet.

My upgrade is still there and my ads reset for the month (fortunately, I had submitted those ads a week before the site went down).

The upgrade expiry dates page is back up.  You might want to send her a message...one of your upgrades expired yesterday, but the other one doesn't expire until the end of the year.  I had that happen at Butterflies with the free upgrade and had to have her switch my account to just the paid upgrade that hadn't expired.

ok, thanks gals  :thblowkiss:  Oh yeah, every time I have an upgrade expire I lose all my upgrades.  :thcoverlaugh:
I'll send her a contact later. It is down again at the moment. I also have the gold upgrade (it's not listed in the expiry dates)
& lost most of those ads due to the downtime.  :thermm:

I haven't gotten any mail in a few weeks at BNR...not even in my on-site inbox.

I will open a ticket unless, there is no mail.  Are you guys getting emails?

Same here since the 12th.  I submitted a ticket, but by the time Gail answered, it had fixed itself.  All I did was log in and click a PTC.  There's plenty of mail once it starts.
